- Find and liaise new hauliers to maximise profit share on work and build relationships with suppliers.
- Quote, book, coordinate, manage & monitor multi-modal Freight movements from departure to arrival.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is supplied.
- Handle customs clearances accurately and in a timely manner.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel both internally and externally.
- Ensure complaints or issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner.
- Process invoices and immediate payments.
- Achieve customer objectives defined by company management.

Oliver Sanderson is engaged with a global Logistics company in search of a Freight Account / Operations Coordinator.
As a Freight Account / Operations Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers within the freight market. You will work to grow import and export activity, coordinate multiple stakeholders and develop existing relationships.
Key areas of focus:
The ideal candidate should have demonstrable experience within the freight forwarding industry, coupled with excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong negotiation skills are essential, along with the capability to foster and maintain robust customer relationships. You must pay attention to detail and have a commitment to meeting deadlines, while also being self-motivated and tenacious. You will be an effective team player with enthusiasm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and familiarity with CRM software and Boxtop is desirable. You must be willing to drive nationwide and possess a full UK driving license.
