- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota targets for assigned territory/accounts.
- Identify and develop new sales leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, etc.
- Conduct consultative sales meetings with prospects to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare compelling product presentations, proposals, and sales quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions for complex sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (applications, engineering, service) as needed to support the sales process.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's material handling products and industry trends.
- Provide exceptional service to manage and grow an assigned base of existing client accounts.
- Accurately forecast and report on pipeline opportunities and sales activities
- May require up to 50% travel within an assigned regional territory.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Solution selling sales approach.
- Experience – materials handling / capital equipment / automation or similar engineering environment would be an advantage
- 3+ years of successful B2B equipment/solutions sales experience, preferably in industrial/manufacturing/engineering environments
- Proven skills in consultative selling, needs discovery, ROI selling, and solution development
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Self-motivated with the drive to achieve sales targets and hit revenue goals
