    Description

    Join us as a Funds Transfer Pricing Manager

    • Take on a new role, formulating funds transfer pricing (FTP) frameworks and methodologies, with a specific focus on NatWest Markets (NWM), gaining exposure to capital, liquidity and funding
    • You'll be setting the bank's funds transfer pricing framework which requires an understanding of resource constraints around capital, liquidity and funding as well as the associated risk appetites
    • You'll be steering the balance sheet in line with strategic objectives of the Bank
    • This is an opportunity to partner with leaders and to grow your network and profile

    What you'll do

    As a Funds Transfer Pricing Manager, you'll be overseeing the NWM FTP framework whilst also supporting NatWest Holdings. You'll be involved in formulating and implementing methodologies, supporting pricing decisions, undertaking impact analysis for the bank, legal entities and working with senior business stakeholders.

    On top of this, you'll be:

    • Setting policies, processes and risk appetites in respect of FTP, capital, liquidity and funding
    • Setting appropriate risk measures and supporting limits framework, monitoring compliance
    • Contributing on regulatory developments and policy interpretations, making sure ramifications are embedded or considered in the banks plans, with balance sheet actions recommended
    • Delivering an approach to funds transfer pricing that is transparent, fair and drives the right behaviours
    • Supporting bank-wide programme's on fund transfer pricing related matters
    • Supporting capital, liquidity and funding initiatives and helping to deliver on balance sheet strategy to make sure value is optimised and resources are priced appropriately

    The skills you'll need

    To succeed in this role, you'll need knowledge of relevant financial, regulatory and legislative developments affecting capital and balance sheet frameworks, as well as knowledge of best practice financial and treasury activities undertaken in peer external organisations. You'll also have experience of funding, liquidity and capital within investment banking, exposure to different asset classes such as debt securities, repos and derivatives, and experience of funds transfer pricing.

    You'll also demonstrate:

    • Comprehensive treasury or banking experience, with good risk management and general banking product knowledge
    • A strong track record in treasury or risk management
    • An accounting or banking treasury qualification
    • Good people management and communication skills
