Regional Engagement Executives x4 - London, United Kingdom - National Residential Landlords Association - NRLA

    Default job background
    Description
    Job Description

    Introduction to the NRLA

The National Residential Landlords Association is the UK's largest membership organisation for private residential landlords, supporting and representing over 100,000 members. The association was created from the merger of the RLA and NLA in April 2020.

NRLA members range from full-time landlords running property portfolios to those letting single bedroom flats. Whatever their status, most landlords face the same regulatory and legal challenges, with over 150 pieces of legislation creating hundreds of legal obligations for the private residential lettings sector.

In September 2023, the NRLA acquired Safe2, a provider of all forms of property safety certification. Safe2 provides landlords with a single compliance service to ensure gas, electrical safety and energy performance certificates are up to date.

We are looking for four people to join our team in various locations: London and South West, North East, North West and Midlands, and South Coast.

The London and South West role will be attached to our London office in Gracechurch Street and the North West and Midlands role will be attached to our Manchester office in Oxford Street. Employees are required to work from one of these offices at least 1 day per week, with 4 days working from home. The other two roles for the North East and South Coast can be fully remote.

As a small/medium-sized company, we expect and require our people to be adaptable and flexible in their role and willing to try out innovative approaches and develop new skills. In return, we aim to provide a positive working environment where people can learn and develop with the support of other colleagues.

Our members provide over 80% of our revenue and so their satisfaction is vital to our long-term success. Accordingly, we want to attract people who understand this and can always challenge themselves to try to deliver a better service.

In return colleagues will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.

The salary for these roles is circa £45,000 OTE

    NRLA benefits are as follows:

25 days annual leave increasing to 26 days with 3 years' service, 27 days with 5 years' service and 28 days with 7 years' service

Additional annual day off for your birthday

    Salary Sacrifice Pension scheme

    Life assurance

Cash plan health and wellbeing benefit including EAP and counselling service

    Company sick pay

Cycle purchase loans, season tickets loans and interest free staff loans

    Complimentary NRLA membership

Non contractual annual bonus scheme relating to individual and organisational performance

    Customer Aquisition:

? identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region, complementing NRLA strategic plans.

? Develop, maintain and convert pipelines of potential targets and opportunities.

? Showcase NRLAs offer to potential recruits and partners.

    Relationship and Partnerships:

? Build and nurture strong relationships with members and organisations with access to potential members, such as local authorities.

? Work collaboratively with Policy colleagues to keep abreast of campaigning related activity.

? Own regional growth targets across the NRLA group of products - not limited to but including: Safe2, Portfolio, Training and membership - devising creative strategies to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction

    Business Development Growth:

? Collaborate with the wider business development team to achieve and exceed targets.

? Implement business development strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue.

? Host high quality in person and virtual events in collaboration with the marketing team.

    Market Analysis and Reporting:

? Prepare regular reports on sales performance and contribute to team meetings.

? Maintain accurate records of business development activities, member and non-member interactions, and transactions.

    Miscellaneous:

? Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, commercial, landlord and membership support, to ensure a seamless member experience.

? Hosting events including promoting, networking, managing registrations and set up, handling enquires and providing timely communication to participants.

? Confident public speaker with strong people skills.

? Given the public facing nature of this role, adherence to the organisation's values and representing the organisation in a professional way is essential.

? A job description cannot cover all aspects comprehensively, and it is anticipated that your responsibilities will develop as you advance within the organisation and integrate into the team.
