About the role The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut as one of our most important areas of business This focused bunch supports all other Revolut teams, helping us achieve our goals each and every day. They're special, they're strong-willed, and they work across myriad different areas. We know this isn't super common for an in-house role, but our team are just that good From structuring credit programmes to launching into new territories, the Legal team does it all Are you a problem solver? This one's for you We're seeking a Treasury Lawyer to join our Legal team, providing expertise in reviewing and negotiating treasury-related documents such as ISDAs and GMRAs, as well as offering regulatory advice related to treasury matters. If you're an expert in financial contracts and regulation, and enjoy a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, we can't wait to welcome you on board. What you'll be doing
    • Providing legal expertise and advice to stakeholders, including Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance, in developing treasury policies and procedures
    • Supporting and leading on negotiations in relation to ISDA/CSA's - derivatives/ structured swaps/hedging and other related documents
    • Advising on the legal aspects of treasury operations
    • Collaborating with Product and Commercial teams to ensure compliance with applicable payments and banking regulations
    • Drafting customer or business facing legal documents for financial products
    • Managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
    • Presenting to governance committees and senior management on critical and strategically important legal arrangements
    • Proactively engaging and working with local regulators
    What you'll need
    • 4+ years of PQE experience
    • Excellent academic and law firm credentials
    • Expertise in commercial contracts and drafting, financial regulation, derivatives, and related derivative products
    • Comprehensive understanding of MIFID, EMIR, MAR, and banking regulations
    • Confidence in decision-making in ambiguous situations
    • Understanding of a treasury department, its operational environment, and risk management structure
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
    Nice to have
    • Experience in the treasury legal function of an investment bank
