    Description

    SSP Overview:

    • Leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide.
    • Over 42,000 colleagues in 600+ locations across 37 countries.
    • Specialize in sit-down and quick service restaurants, cafes, lounges, and food-led convenience stores.
    • Focus on airports and train stations with a diverse portfolio of 550+ brands.

    About the Role:

    • Supporting 36 countries within the SSP group and Head Office company accounting.
    • Key role in ensuring accurate completion of monthly group reporting.
    • Work closely with in-country and group finance teams for smooth processes.
    • Assist in the preparation of group consolidated statutory accounts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review completeness and accuracy of IFRS 16 submissions monthly.
    • Maintain accurate accounting records for head office companies.
    • Identify and lead projects for reporting process improvements.
    • Complete analytical reviews of entities and produce management reports.
    • Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting papers.
    • Prepare intercompany reports and ensure accuracy in the group consolidation system.

    Requirements:

    • ACA qualified accountant from a Big 6 firm's audit practice.
    • Experience in auditing complex consolidations with listed companies.
    • Knowledge of IFRS 16 standard and strong Excel skills.
    • Understanding of SAP, ALEA, Tagetik is a plus.
    • Good business presentation and technical writing skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy and attention to detail.
