    As Head of Marketing Finance youll providesenior Finance business influencing and partnering with key VP and Directorlevel stakeholders in our Growth org Performance Marketing CRM Brand You will be the fulcrum between the commercial and Finance teams for the marketing investment a critical growth lever as we look to expand our presence across Europe embedding dataled critical thinking in all aspects of investment planning and assessment to ensure business objectives are met in the most effective and efficient way possible

    Your team will deliver high quality actionable insightto drive decisionmaking and investment allocation across Brand and Performance Marketing for both the UK and International Consumer business segmentsOur department is everevolving and so you will play an important role in enabling a culture of continuous improvement working closely with the Data team todevise innovative ways to access insight

  • Growth: Marketing: accountable for delivering clarity on spend decisions on 70M Perf Marketing amp; Brand budget includingPowering business growth whilst optimising for balance with shareholder return: assessing and challenging business thinking on key payback indicators: customer lifetime value ROI and incrementality of marketing spend in order to inform decisionmaking and to manage growth and payback in line with Group investment objectivesOptimising capital allocations and driving business thinking on the interplay of the multiple strands of the marketing strategy and available levers Performance Marketing Brand discounting; acquisition renewals reactivationSpend budgeting amp; reforecasting: owning the process for setting budgets and measuring delivery against budgeted outcomes for capturing variances to plan and understanding outturn impactsHolding the business to accounton core Marketing objectives and managing influencing decisionmaking on coursecorrections and adjustments to the planFacilitating spend decisionmaking and responsible acceleration of investmentwith business cases and ROI assessmentHelping to set and monitor operational KPIswhich align with wider goals and guide the business to successTest amp; learn: holding the Growth team to account for investment in testing and the learnings produceGrowth: Lifetime ValueRoadmap support assessment amp; course correction for supercharging the growth business through increased retention and value per customerCustomer behaviour retention frequency: cohortsShaping and influencing Data Science team roadmap to prioritise businesscritical high impact projectsQualificationsYoull bring experience in a commercial finance marketing finance or analytical role and demonstrate a proactive cando attitudeWed prefer you to have worked within a digital ecommerce technology or retail environment but we can flex on this given your ability to work with pace and energy within a growth environmentA team player with experience of leading a small team combined with a roll your sleeves up attitude of your own youll be used to thinking laterally to solve problems and challenges and will have a passion for making meaning out of dataSimilarly its vital that you bring an innate ability to distil and communicate results of complex analysis clearly and effectively to all levels of the businessWorking independently within tight deadlines youll use your understanding of bestinclass stakeholder management and proactive partnering skills to ensure your teams insights are used to optimise business successWere looking for creative big thinkers with small egos to achieve our ambitious plans
