The Director of Education and Student Experience (DESE), in collaboration with the Dean, Deputy Dean and the Director of Operations, has overall responsibility for the Faculty's delivery of outstanding education.
The DESE ensures that appropriate action is taken in relation to students and to education and matters that impact the student experience within the Faculty, in line with UCL policy, and that appropriate contributions are made to strategy and policy development.
As delegated by the Dean, the role of Director of Education and Student Experience encompasses the duties of the "Faculty Tutor" as set out in the UCL Academic Manual.
