    Description
    We are looking for a motivated and competent Transport Team Leader to join our fabulous team in Nottingham.

    We are a leading laundry company providing professional linen and workwear rental to the hospitality (hotels, holiday parks and serviced apartments) and manufacturing industries throughout the UK.

    50 per annum depending upon experience
    Shift Pattern or Hours of Work:

    You will be working on a 4 on, 4 off rota which will include weekends, totalling 44 hours per week.

    Our transport function is pivotal to ensure that our laundry can function; The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Transport Manager in managing the on-site transport team.

    Conducting regular performance reviews, as well as dealing with day- to- day operations, including liaising with our customers either face to face or via phone/email
    Managing driver risk profile and identifying and supporting driver training needs
    Accident investigation and management
    Driver CPC training

    To be considered for the role, you will need previous experience of leading a fast-paced transport team, including the ability to engage and drive your team, routing and scheduling of both vehicles and drivers and ensuring driver training and assessment is carried out.

    You will have the confidence to escalate any issues that may arise, will be customer focused, have the ability to remain calm under pressure and flexible to meet the demands of the role.

    It is essential that you hold a valid Class 2 (CAT C) licence, up to date driver CPC and digi tacho card– if you have a CPC Manager qualification this would be an advantage An excellent understanding of transport compliance, such as working time directive and vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.

    In addition, computer literacy and good communication skills in English are essential for this role and you will need Proof of Eligibility to work in the UK.
