    Operations Manager (Social First Podcast Agency)

    We're looking for someone to lead the day to day operations of our fast growing 'Social First' Podcast agency.

    This is a pivotal role for us.

    We work with a select group of Podcasts to produce shows that build large, engaged audiences across audio, YouTube and social media.

    We're a team of 12 social experts, video editors and producers.

    Clients we've worked with include:


    • The High Performance Podcast (leading sports podcast)


    • Parenting Hell with Josh Widdicombe & Rob Beckett (leading comedy podcast)


    • Diary of a CEO (leading business podcast)


    • Fearne Cotton's Happy Place (leading wellness podcast)

    We love making exceptional content that helps people to laugh, learn, escape and feel connected.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Leading the onboarding of new clients
    • Managing the day to day delivery of client services
    • Ensuring clients are on track and delighted with agency performance
    • Planning and allocating resources
    • Managing our delivery team of world class producers, video editors & social managers
    • Creating robust systems and processes to ensure smooth day to day operations
    • Creating frameworks to ensure our unique strategies are documented for adoption across the agency and easy to repeat + implement
    • Working closely with the agency Founder to improve margin
    • Regularly report on SWOTs across the business
    • 1-2-1 Management of the team

    The ideal candidate should:

    • Have experience running day to day operations (ideally in an agency environment)
    • Be highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
    • Love documenting, creating systems and processes
    • Be comfortable managing individuals 1-2-1
    • Be prepared to ask the hard questions
    • Default to believing all problems are solvable
    • Be resourceful enough to find solutions using their own initiative
    • Be an effective communicator
    • Default to a-sync communication and optimizing for remote teams
    • A strong interest in Podcasts, YouTube and social media would be beneficial

    This is not for you if:

    • You like to take the easy option
    • You don't enjoy driving projects from initial idea to completion
    • You need to be office based (this is largely a remote role)
    • You don't want to push yourself and a team to create great work
    • You are not ambitious and driven to shape your own future
