    Description

    This is a well-established Secondary School in the heart of Wiltshire. With 1200 pupils on roll and an Ofsted rating of 'Good'. They are a welcoming and supportive school with strong values and caring ethos. Staff are hardworking and dedicated to help children succeed.

    Role:

    • Must be a qualified Business Studies and ICT teacher
    • Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4
    • Responsible for the supervision of Teaching Assistants working with the class.
    • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
    • Ability to plan and prepare lessons and programmes of study.
    • Interact with students, parents and faculty.
    • Facilitate classroom procedures.
    • Set culture standards for learning.
    • Monitor students' progress in the subject.

    Experience, Qualifications and Training:

    • We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher
    • Must have QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
    • Previous teaching experience
    • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not
    • essential). Training will be provided.
    • Suitable role for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECT)

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
    • Be self-motivated, detail-oriented and adaptable
    • Good understanding of supporting SEN students
    • Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children and young people

    Eligibility to work in a teaching role:

    • Holds Right to Work in the UK
    • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
    • Enhanced DBS certificate which is either on the online 'Update Service' or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate

    Suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. As part of the shortlisting process an online search will be carried out. All appointments will be subject to vetting, including an enhanced DBS check. It is an offence to apply for a role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
