    Salesforce Systems Administrator at Cutting-Edge Technology Provider

    Fully Remote or Hybrid Position

    Salary: Up to £32,000 plus benefits

    The Role

    Seeking a candidate with robust Salesforce Systems Administration skills open to transitioning into a Release Engineer role. An exciting opportunity awaits for individuals looking to expand their horizons. Key responsibilities revolve around collaborating with the team, forging strong customer relationships, overseeing product delivery, and managing cloud packaging platform deliveries.

    Your Roles and Responsibilities

    • Configure Salesforce environments tailored to customer requirements.
    • Oversee various environments, including but not limited to Development, Testing, Staging, and Production, integrating technologies like GIS and Document Management.
    • Ensure product quality through comprehensive testing and validation.
    • Identify automation opportunities and craft scripts with tools such as CumulusCI or ANT.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders on tool configurations and upgrades, including Senior Test Engineers and project managers.
    • Utilize tools like GearSet, GIT, DataLoader, ChangeSets, and Salesforce Environment Hub for deployment.
    • Diligently plan deployments to address complexities and dependencies.
    • Work closely with Developers and Project Managers to maintain product quality during testing.
    • Analyze and resolve deployment issues promptly.
    • Execute upgrades and patches with minimal disruption to customer environments.
    • Perform data migrations and updates to uphold data integrity.
    • Engage with customers, document deployment notes, and streamline stakeholder engagement through task automation.

    Your Skills and Experience

    • Prior experience in Salesforce Systems Administration.
    • Proficiency in software and database management with expertise in resolving Testing or DevOps issues.
    • Strong communication skills in explaining technical steps and solutions to customers.
    • Hands-on experience with PaaS/SaaS environment deployments.
    • Ability to manage instances from Development to Production.
    • Commercial experience in enterprise-level software or database deployment.
    • Experience in software implementation and client system configurations.
    • Detail-oriented and logical with excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Capable of both independent work and collaborative deployment management.
