Job Description

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to collaborate with an agricultural industry group to streamline the procurement process for its members in a smart, efficient, and sustainable manner.

With the organization expanding its services and membership, there is a need for a knowledgeable General Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Drive member acquisition through innovative development and engagement activities.
Lead the procurement and finance team.
Enhance the range of products and services offered.
Provide access to an ordering system.
Ensure members have access to a comprehensive range of products and services to enhance their businesses' efficiency.
Compare products and services to guarantee that members receive the best service, prices, and efficiencies.
Offer support when things go wrong or do not meet members' expectations.
Ensure membership remains affordable in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in business, preferably in the agricultural sector, to recognize and address future opportunities and challenges.
Analyze and predict upcoming trends in the agricultural market to maintain market relevance.
Identify opportunities to establish connections with other buying groups or suppliers to benefit the company and its members.
Proficient in managing a customized IT system and future systems to enhance office efficiencies and member services.
Maintain an open and responsive relationship with the Board.
Have experience and negotiation skills to expand the range of products and services available to members at competitive prices.
Increase membership to maximize competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Strong management and development skills with digital marketing experience.
Effective communicator.
Hold a UK driving license.
