    BWB Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to be based in our Nottingham office.

    Understand, prepare and process corporate month end journal postings, including prepayments, WIP, revenue, accruals and cost reallocations in line with multiple companies' policies.

    ~ Responsible for the management of operational P&L's & reporting.

    ~ Review and communicate to operational managers on variance analysis.

    ~ Responsible for the management & review of overheads with department heads.

    ~ Support understanding & communication of Project/Client Performance and Staff utilisation.

    ~ Support annual financial audit ensuring monthly financial compliance.

    Liaise with Managers and review financial information:
    ~ Meetings via Microsoft Teams

    ~ May require travel to offices where appropriate.

    ~ Financial ledger transactions are delivered through finance shared service - close working relationships are essential to the success of the FP&A Team.

    ~ Ensure all management information is delivered in a timely manner and understood by users.

    ~ Contribute to the company financial training programme.

    ~ Must hold a recognised accounting qualification e.g CIMA, ACCA
    Must have extensive practical experience of balance sheet reconciliation, including maintenance of fixed asset register.
    Sound working experience of accounting principles in relation to WIP recognition, Revenue recognition policies including FRS15.

    The successful individual will have extensive experience in producing monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheet preparation and calculation of funds flow statements.

    Analytical skills and working with large volumes of data to produce valuable reports for stakeholders.
    Advanced skills in excel are required.
    Knowledge of financial analytical tools would be desirable
