    FP&A Manager Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for life sciences projects, departments, or business units.
    • Oversee the analysis of financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement within the life sciences sector.
    • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, including investment decisions, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
    • Direct the creation of complex financial models to evaluate scenarios, assess risks, and forecast financial outcomes for life sciences initiatives, products, or investments.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to align financial goals with operational objectives in the life sciences industry.
    • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of clear and concise financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, investors, and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry best practices in financial planning and analysis activities within the life sciences sector.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, data accuracy, and resource optimization in financial planning and analysis functions within life sciences organisations.

    FP&A Manager Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare industry.
    • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling techniques.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of an organisation.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
