    Job Title: Specialist MSK Physiotherapist (Band 6) at PhysioWorks

    Do you have a passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and want to join a dynamic team at PhysioWorks? We are a community-based service with a dedicated staff of approximately 60 members.

    Responsibilities:

    • To assess, diagnose, plan, and develop specialized physiotherapy treatment programs in a community setting.
    • Supervise, train, and assess physiotherapists, assistants, and students within the service.
    • Contribute to the strategies and objectives of PhysioWorks and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

    Qualifications:

    Essential

    • Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy from a CSP recognized training institution.
    • Current HCPC registration.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development.
    • Post graduate MSK courses.

    Desirable

    • Masters level or equivalent courses.
    • Training for graduate physiotherapy student supervision.
    • Experience:

      Essential

      • Broad clinical experience in various specialties.
      • Experience in MSK assessment and rehabilitation.

      Desirable

      • Research and/or audit experience.
      • Knowledge of current legislation and government policies.
      • Community clinic-based experience.

      Skills and Abilities:

      Essential

      • Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills.
      • Ability to work independently.
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Skills in passing on knowledge.
      • Computer literacy.
      • Coping strategies for emotional situations.
      • Respect for diversity.
      • Ability to maintain judgement under pressure.

      Desirable

      • Supervision of junior staff and students.
      • Other Requirements:

        Essential

        • Flexible and mature attitude.
        • Motivated and enthusiastic about physiotherapy.
        • Car driver with daily access to transportation.
