    Description

    Do you have experience providing services to vulnerable people who are homeless or require support with housing needs? Do you have experience as a Project manager managing a hostel for individuals to achieve positive outcomes? Here at the Amore Group, we are looking for an experienced individual to manage a hostel for our clients new Supported Accommodation service.

    The service will be to provide 24-hour support and housing management services to single people in order for the individuals to achieve positive outcomes and move on.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people experiencing homelessness and complex needs. We are looking for you to maintain high levels of personal credibility with both staff and service users.

    Shift pattern is 7.30 am to 8pm worked Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday of week one followed by Wednesday, Thursday, Friday in week two.

    *Job Role- * You will be responsible for; Leading, developing and encouraging the staff team to provide a quality care to the individuals.

    Communicating and liaising with internal and external partners and commissioners, and the landlord to ensure the smooth operation of the service.

    · Facilitate a timely transition period for the induvials in the home.

    • Ensuring risk management and adult safeguarding.
    • Provide a person-centred approach intervention that build on each client's existing skills and increase resilience, undertaking direct service provision as required.
    • To facilitate access to recovery, mental health and other services as appropriate.
    • Manage and diffuse difficult situations.
    • To represent the service at professional meetings when required
    • To work with the HR procedures and ensure these are monitored within the team.
    • To be involved in the development of policies and practices that reflect the changing environment within which the organisation works and to ensure the flow of information to the Senior Management Team.
    • To be responsible for the dissemination of all policies, procedures and practice to staff.
    • To have a key role in the recruitment and induction of new staff and volunteers, and to identify appropriate training and resources which support the achievement of personal and service objectives
    • To proactively manage performance at a team and individual level motivating staff and challenging poor performance positively and constructively.
    • To combat prejudice by challenging all forms of discrimination, recognising diversity and taking positive action to ensure equal opportunities within the services we provide.
    • To oversee work rotas to ensure minimum staffing levels are maintained at all times and timely cover arrangements are put in place for staff absence and training which make efficient use of available resources including budgets.
    • To lead on weekly client review meetings and referrals to the City-Wide MDT

    Job Type:
    Full-time Pay: £33,024.00-£37,336.00 per year
