    Job summary

    Working alongside our Operations Managers and wider team, there is ample opportunity for personal development. This role represents a real opportunity for someone with an interest in clinical education and who has a keen eye for organisation and a friendly manner.

    As part of the role you can expect to be working alongside a full range of clinicians from critical care doctors to first responders and will have regular interaction with our Operations and Clinical Directorates.

    Main duties of the job

    The Education and Training Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinate day to day education across both the commercial and internal course provision
  • Coordinate the allocation of teaching faculty for courses
  • Ensure pre-course information is provided to our candidates in advance of courses and in line with course regulations
  • Welcome candidates on the morning of their course and ensure on the day administration requirements are met for each individual course
  • Ensure post-course feedback forms and documentation are completed and submitted to the relevant awarding bodies
  • Share feedback learning to our faculty and monitor for trends for improvement and development
  • Oversee room bookings within our education centre, including liaising with our Operations teams to ensure their rooms are allocated for interviews, selection assessments and inductions
  • Support preparation of classrooms and learning spaces ahead of courses, ensuring all equipment and consumables are available
  • Support the development of new centre accreditations, and ensure we retain our high standards across our awarding body regulations as per their policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with our Ambulance Operations and Event Operations team to coordinate and develop relevant education opportunities to continue to develop our clinical workforce
  • Ensure the upkeep of centre accreditations and compliance with relevant awarding body requirements

With a range of centre accreditations including Qualsafe, Resuscitation Council (UK), Advanced Life Support Group, NAEMT and The Airway Site Difficult Airway Course EMS, along with a range of internal education courses, education is a rapidly expanding area of the business.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join ECS as their Education and Training Administrator. This role focuses on supporting all education delivery and working with our extensive education faculty to ensure timely organisation of our courses and the post course requirements are met. Applicants must have a flexible approach to working hours as course times are not standardised.

    Essential

  • Excellent IT ability, utilising Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc
  • Good level of literacy
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Experience of administrative roles, able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills
  • Confident in liaising with a range of people from prospective candidates to senior clinical faculty
  • Desirable

  • Experience of involvement with education delivery
  • Experience of involvement with clinical education delivery
  • An understanding of different awarding bodies and their processes and systems to ensure high quality education delivery
  • Experience of reception and administrative duties
  • Aptitudes and Attributes
