    Description

    Join our team at Centrepoint as a Housing First Service Manager , where you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing opportunities for young people to achieve positive outcomes and lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

    As a Service Manager , you'll be at the forefront of delivering Housing First services tailored to the unique needs of young individuals.

    Please note that due to the dispersed nature of our services, a valid driver's license and access to carwill be required for this role.

    In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and developing team members, providing consistent leadership, and fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery.

    Leading a team to build psychologically informed relationships with young people

    • Proactively engaging with young people to develop positive relationships and inspire them daily
    • Driving continuous improvement to ensure exemplary service standards
    • Coproducing holistic support plans and risk management strategies with team members
    • Meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators while maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding practice
    • Forging and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders and support agencies
    • Creating traumainformed services centered around the safety and wellbeing of young people
    • Demonstrating commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery
    To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities and experience:

    Experience in delivering services to people with complex needs within the Housing First model or similar floating support/ assertive outreach to people with complex needs and challenging behaviour.


    • Understanding of approaches suitable for working with young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, substance use, and challenging behavior
    • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders across sectors
    • Leadership experience in delivering traumainformed services for young people
    Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills

    • Exceptional leadership and people management abilities
    • Excellent timemanagement and prioritization skills
    • Proficiency in written communication and report writing
