    Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for Compliance Manager to join our Compliance Team based in London, Manchester, Yorkshire or Sunderland.

    About us

    We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037 .

    Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.

    The Compliance Team's role is to provide assurance that, based on evidence, internal controls are in place and are operating effectively. We are responsible for ensuring Centrepoint can operate and develop safely within regulatory frameworks. The team, which consists of managers, officers and a head of department, oversees several aspects of compliance across Centrepoint, including fundraising, employability & skills, data protection, complaints, internal policies and procedures and safeguarding.

    What you'll be doing

    You will be:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day compliance against Ofsted standards in Supported Housing and Employability & Skills.
    • Undertaking service reviews and compliance checks.
    • Facilitating various quality working groups and ensure actions are completed.
    • Assisting colleagues in the preparation for Ofsted inspections.
    • Providing advice, guidance and training to staff in relation to areas of compliance.
    • Ensuring accurate records are maintained for submission to Ofsted.
    • Contributing to maintaining external accreditation, for example Matrix quality standard.
    • Developing the annual Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan for each area.
