    Business Change Manager x2 opportunities available on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Basis

    We have two exciting opportunities to join our IT Services Department as a Business Change Manager. These positions offer hybrid working options.

    Role Overview

    As a Business Change Manager, you will ensure that the impact of change initiatives across the collegiate University is understood by all stakeholders. You will support staff and students in adopting new ways of working by identifying, embedding, and sustaining changes to business processes, job roles, organisational structures, systems, and technology.

    About the role

    The Business Change Manager reports to the Head of Business Change within the Programme and Projects Delivery Group (PPDG) of IT Services. PPDG delivers IT projects that bring significant business benefits through enhanced technology and improved processes.

    These roles focus primarily on the Technology Portfolio, which includes modernising technologies and delivering wide-reaching programmes like Shared Infrastructure Services, Identity, and Data programmes.

    Effective business change management is crucial to building stakeholder engagement, ensuring coherent and positive change processes, and avoiding disruption.

    About You

    • Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Business Change Manager on complex projects with diverse stakeholders.
    • Skills: Ability to manage complex situations, maintain project focus, and apply change methodologies effectively.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in communications planning and delivery to support change initiatives.
    • Desirable: Experience in higher education or similar non-commercial organizations, with an understanding of university management structures, politics, and culture (preferred but not essential).
