    Job Opportunity: Management Accountant

    The company is currently on the lookout for a Management Accountant. This position entails handling the meticulous creation of management accounts and budgets, with a focus on constantly enhancing the quality of information provided to the management teams in London & Brussels, as well as the accounting teams in NY.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Overseeing the detailed annual expense budget for the London office.
    • Preparing monthly management accounts reports.
    • Producing monthly budgetary control variance analyses.
    • Reviewing and preparing detailed monthly G/L analyses.
    • Forecasting quarterly expenses.
    • Compiling quarterly partnership tax accounts accrual reports.
    • Creating necessary expense reports for London & Brussels managers.
    • Assisting in annual partnership UK Tax return and PAYE settlement agreement expense analyses.
    • Compiling the annual capital expenditure budget.
    • Setting up new AP vendors as needed.
    • Handling the London office's quarterly VAT return.
    • Preparing cash flow forecast reports for London & Brussels offices.
    • Overseeing weekly invoice & expense payment runs.
    • Creating foreign exchange currency journals.
    • Supporting Finance Supervisor with accounting projects.
    • Providing daily reports to Finance Supervisor regarding all work duties & tasks.
    • Candidate Profile:
    • Preferred: Degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Preferred: Part and/or Qualified Accountant.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in legal or professional services accounting.
    • Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office skills.
    • Experience with Elite 3E or similar accounting systems.
    • Familiarity with UK Solicitors Accounts Rules.
    • Thorough understanding of UK VAT and AML compliance rules.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities.
