    THE POSITION
    We are currently seeking a Credit Control Manager to join our vibrant team in the City on a 12-month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover. In this role, you will primarily focus on credit control for Open Market and Binding Authority business. You will collaborate with the Finance team and interact extensively with Underwriting, Claims, and Outwards Reinsurance departments.


    FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Clearing USM messages from the suspense account daily
    • Managing monthly open market overdue premium report and coordinating with underwriters to follow up with brokers
    • Conducting Financial reviews for risk renewals
    • Monthly preparation of Binder & Lineslip monitoring reports, emphasizing overdue payments to underwriters
    • Cash allocations
    • Creating LPANS
    • Compiling summary reports for relevant committees on credit control status
    • Escalating pertinent issues to the Finance Director

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    • Effective communication within the Finance team and adept at collaborating with Underwriting, Claims, and Outwards Reinsurance functions to proactively address issues

    MANAGEMENT DUTIES

    • Supervising and fostering the growth of the Credit Control Assistant through mentoring and one-on-one sessions

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supporting various other Finance functions as needed occasionally

    • Proficient in MS Excel
    • Excellent written communication abilities
