- Be the first point of contact for phone and email inquiries about HR/employee relations matters.
- Assist managers and employees with basic advice and guidance on issues like appeals, discipline, and grievances.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all queries according to agreed-upon timelines.
- Build good relationships through clear and friendly communication.
- Manage administrative tasks independently, working with colleagues to address any potential employment issues.
- Keep accurate records of employee relations cases and update the HR system accordingly.
- Ensure all tracking systems are kept up to date with correct information.
- Provide advice based on company policies and procedures.
- Handle paperwork related to various HR processes, like family leave, disciplinary actions, and probationary periods.
- Help the company follow HR policies and laws.
- Create basic HR reports when needed.
- Keep track of HR data and share updates with relevant parties on time.
- Refer complex cases to senior HR advisors when necessary.
- Experience in a HR Administration / HR Assistant role
- Good working knowledge of UK Employment Law
