    Description
    My client, a globally recognised fund are hiring an Interim Tax Specialist to join their prestigious in-house finance team. As this company continues to expand their operations internationally, they are seeking a talented and experienced Tax Specialist to join their team and oversee tax mattes across the UK and Europe.

    As the Interim Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning activities for their UK and European operations. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations, minimize tax risks, and optimize tax efficiency.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of UK corporate tax returns and European tax filings
    • Review and oversee tax provisions, ensuring accurate reporting under UK GAAP/IFRS
    • Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with new requirements
    • Work closely with external advisors to optimise the corporate tax position of the company
    • Lead the VAT compliance process, ensuring accurate and timely submission across multiple jurisdictions
      Requirements:
      • ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified preferred
      • Experience with UK and European direct and indirect taxes
      • Experience within a multinational or Big 4 accounting firm is desirable
      • Strong experience working in a fund preferred
      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
      • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
