    Are you an experienced HR Manager who embraces managing a small team, working at a fast pace to deliver a first-class colleague experience?
    If so, we want you to be a part of BW Legal's People and Culture Department as our new People Operations Manager

    As BW Legal's People Operations Manager, you'll be hands on, working in a forward thinking and contemporary HR department.

    You will embrace technology by using our HRIS, People HR, to an advanced level and as a key tool in automating our people processes to enhance the end user experience.

    This role is varied, with no two days the same as you guide line managers through the entire employee lifecycle while overseeing the day-to-day management of a small but friendly team.

    Ensuring effective management of all colleague Company Benefits and Reward and Recognition schemes.


    • Managing the information held on the HR database to ensure it is accurate and compliant with any legal or GDPR policies
    • Providing advice and direction to the team on work priorities and any changes to processes or policies
    • Supporting line managers as the first point of contact for ER issues including absence, performance, conduct, flexible working, health, wellbeing and risk assessments
    • Supporting line managers with effective recruitment, conducting robust interviews in line with our BW Way and ensuring a fair selection process is followed to recruit the best talent
    • Staying up to date with current legislation to update our existing policies, proposing changes to the Head of People and Culture.
    People Operations Team Management


    • Managing a small but friendly team, ensuring robust HR processes
    • Demonstrating the company values and a high-performance work ethic with a focus on successful outcomes
    • Any other ad-hoc duties required across the wider People & Culture team
    Extensive working knowledge of HR processes and procedures


    • 5 years' experience in a HR Role and 3 as HR Manager or running small HR department / similar role
    • Level 5 CIPD qualified, degree in HR or equivalent qualification
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    Knowledge of People HR system


    • Knowledge or experience of legal or financial services industry or another regulated environment
    • 30pm, Monday to Friday.
