    We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Manager, Chief of Staff Office - Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

    As Manager, you will have primary responsibility for supporting Risk and Compliance Governance within the dedicated Governance team, which exists to ensure that there is an effective risk governance framework in place for the GCRCO and Group Risk & Compliance function and provides both executive and non-executive governance support. The role holder will also provide support to the wider CoS team across regulatory engagement, reporting and disclosure related activities.

    In this role, you will:


    • Support Risk and Compliance governance activities for both executive and non-executive committees either chaired or attended by the GCRCO.

    • Provide administrative support to the team as required.

    • Contribute to shaping forward agendas, identifying priorities, providing effective review and constructive challenge of governance papers to enhance output, governance pack production and briefing notes.

    • Proactively track and monitor management actions from senior governance committees.

    • Support the CoS team in managing the wider book of work and track key deliverables.

    • Support the implementation of effective risk governance across the Risk and Compliance function, providing insightful advice and support to key stakeholders in relation to governance requirements.

    • Support the GCRCO in relation to their Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) responsibilities, ensuring they are properly evidenced including the review and identification of thematic issues across reporting.

    • Expect a significant level of activities to be agile and adapt to the changing internal and external environment.

    • Draft clear, concise, and insightful reports on risk governance matters, support regulatory engagements, provide strategic review and insights on critical reports.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:


    • Strong written and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with the Group's Risk Management Framework (RMF) and working knowledge across all risk types, which is sufficient to engage with risk stewards as needed.

    • Ability to grasp technical and complex issues (, prudential risk matters) to prepare accurate and high-quality products, summarising technical and complex subjects for senior audiences.

    • Able to work confidently in a changing environment with unpredictable and varied deliverables autonomously.

    • Strong SME domain experience in either financial risk or a non-financial risk area.

    The base location for this role is: London with Hybrid working.
