    Description

    Job overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled data analyst to join the Complex Care Programme within the South London Mental Health and Community Partnership

We are looking for someone who is capable and self-motivated with a natural ability to plan ahead. The post holder will need excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with individuals at all levels.

This post requires someone who performs well in a busy, sometimes demanding environment with multiple projects at once and juggling competing priorities. The successful candidate should be methodical, organised and have excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructures.

The Complex Care Programme has developed an excellent reputation for providing accurate and timely data which is critical to commissioning the best patient care, at the right time and in the right place. The successful person will be a vital part of continuing to ensure that programme deliver outstanding results.

    Main duties of the job

To work closely with the Snr Performance Manager and support them in developing systems and processes to ensure the accurate collection, monitoring and reporting of activity data for the South London Partnership Complex Care Programme.

This role requires a high level of skills to enable the postholder to interrogate and reconcile multiple data sources, many of which will be held in external databases and using multiple formats.

This role requires the ability to routinely combine those datasets into a single report that provides accurate information for the Programme Senior Leadership Team and Finance Director to manage both the financial and service quality & delivery elements of the business.

Due to the nature of how the programme operates, the postholder will need to be highly autonomous and exceedingly self-motivated and pro-active, working with minimal supervision or guidelines. Only high-level goals will be set and the postholder will need to create their own solution to many problems that will inevitably appear as the function of the hub continues to evolve and develop going forward

    Working for our organisation

The South London Mental Health and Community Partnership (SLMHP) Complex Care Programme (CCP) is a collaboration between Oxleas Foundation Trust, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Mental Health Trusts and South West London and St Georges Mental Health Trust.

A key focus is to ensure people are supported in the least restrictive setting, close to home & have a personalised outcomes-based support plan that builds on their skills and assets & community connections.

From 1st November 2020, the Programme received delegated authority as a Phase 1, to manage the 100% complex care health only funded placement budgets of the SE and SW London Integrated Care Boards (ICB) (excluding Lambeth). This includes managing complex care placements for c380 individuals at a cost of c£35m.

From April 2021, the Programme moved to a Phase 2 shadow year where it is working with borough pilot sites (a target of one in each Mental Health Trust has been set) in shadow form to support the boroughs to agree the health component of the joint funded placements (c16m) with Social Care.
