    Description

    Hippo Digital is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Head of Business Development and be part of their expanding team. This position reports to the New Business Development Director and will focus on establishing new client relationships in Central Government to generate consistent revenue streams through long-term partnerships.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional with a solid network within Central Government. The chosen candidate will have the chance to further develop Hippo's reputation in the public sector and shape its future in this industry.

    • Digital transformation: prioritizing customer-centric software and digital services to enhance business outcomes
    • Data Transformation: assisting organizations in leveraging their data effectively for improved visibility and results
    • Contacts: a substantial network in Central Government with key positions in relevant departments
    • Commercial management: overseeing the contracting process in collaboration with internal bid and technical teams
    • Long term partnerships: identifying suitable departmental partners and growth opportunities aligning with Hippo's ambitious plans

    The candidate should possess strong communication skills, a vast network within Central Government, and a history of problem-solving and meeting client needs through tech-based solutions. They must also demonstrate a consultative approach to sales to foster enduring client relationships.

    Additionally, they should have a collaborative mindset, a knack for solving problems innovatively, and a keen understanding of commercial implications both internally and for clients.
