- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, sanctions, and import/export regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess and mitigate legal risks.
- Develop and monitor company policies, including KYC and compliance.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends.
- Prepare corporate filings and submissions.
- Manage external legal counsel to ensure cost-effective services.
- Provide training to internal stakeholders on legal issues and compliance matters
- Provide proactive legal advice to support business objectives.
- Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales)
- 5 years PQE in corporate law, preferably in-house or at a reputable law firm.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing corporate transactions and complex legal matters.
- Sound judgment and the ability to provide strategic legal advice.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate Legal Counselto join our legal team. You should have a strong background in corporate law, with expertise in advising and supporting internal stakeholders on various corporate matters.
