    Description
    Senior Wordings Specialist

    Our client a prestigious London Insurer as a Senior Wordings Specialist and become a pivotal part of their dynamic team.

    They are dedicated to providing innovative insurance solutions and are seeking an experienced professional to lead their international wordings department.

    Lead the development and enhancement of insurance policy wordings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements
    Collaborate with underwriters, legal experts, and other stakeholders to create bespoke policy wordings tailored to specific risks

    Policy Review and Analysis:
    Review and analyse existing policy wordings to identify areas for improvement or updates
    Ensure that policy wordings accurately reflect the scope of coverage and align with underwriting guidelines


    Regulatory Compliance:
    Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure that policy wordings remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations
    Work closely with compliance professionals to address any regulatory concerns or issues
    Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on matters related to policy wordings
    Provide guidance and support to underwriters, brokers, and clients regarding policy interpretation and coverage


    Training and Development:
    Provide training and guidance to junior members of the wordings team, fostering their professional development and enhancing overall expertise
    Conduct workshops or seminars to educate internal stakeholders on best practices for policy wordings
    Maintain comprehensive documentation of all policy wordings, revisions, and updates
    Extensive experience in insurance policy wordings within the London market
    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal language and insurance terminology
    Proven track record of leading wordings projects and initiatives, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
