Job Title: Sales Director – Generator Hire

Area to be covered: National – ideally based South East
Remuneration: Up to £80,000 + £20,000-£30,000 Commission
Benefits: Hybrid car + full comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Sales Director – Generator Hire will involve:
·Lead and develop field sales operation
·Player/ Manager role
·Responsible for a technical director, BDM and as head of power/ BDM
·Tasked with growing the team revenue from £3.5m to £5m over the next 12 months (£7m the following year)
·Personal target between £1m-£2m
·Majority of the time on the road in front of customers
·Selling into main contractors, electrical contractors and specialist event and film companies
·Tropical customers include hospitals, factories, distributors (where power back-up is essential)
·Selling the hire of large generators
·Responsible for eight depots nationally
·Leveraging your own network of contacts within the power industry
·
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Director – Generator Hire with:
·3 years+ field sales management
·Must come from and have a network of contacts within the power industry within sales and operations
·Generator hire experience/ working for a competitor
·Strong negotiating skills
·Competitive nature
·Experience of managing a multi-site organisation
·Outstanding leadership, managerial and motivation skills
·Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
·Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
