- Lead the end-to-end new business pitch process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and close with poise, structure and gravitas.
- Bring structure, process and order to the new business pitches, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with CMOs and heads of marketing at leading brands, demonstrating world-class influence and gravitas. Be able to talk knowledgeable about the marcomms landscape, particularly with a focus on social creative strategy and influencer marketing,
- Collaborate internally with our creative, strategy, finance and account management teams to develop compelling pitch presentations and proposals and ensure RFI and RFPs run smoothly
- Be able to speak the language of marketers, being plugged into industry trends, marque examples of creativity, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in new business development within the marketing or advertising industry.
- Hunter mentality - prospecting and early identification of new business leads with a proative mindset to engaging decision makers and winning the business
- Proven track record of successfully closing new business deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Deep understanding of social media marketing, mar comms. digital media and some of the in-coming tech of AI and Blockchain, etc
- A creative and lateral thinker with deep business acumen and the ability to link opportunities to the needs state of clients
- Excellent account management and project management skills in being able to service the requests and requirements of CMOs and Business Leaders at executive level.
- Collaborative, able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior-level decision-makers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Growth Director to join our team. As the New Business lead, you will be responsible for leading our agency's efforts in acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the social media landscape, influencer marketing and the general digital media landscape along with a proven track record of successfully pitching and securing new business from brands looking to target Gen Z audiences.
About You :
Most likely you will be a new business commercial leader at a Media or Creative Agency who has built an excellent reputation of trust and delivering world-class marcomms services to CMOs and Marketing Directors at blue-chip brands. You will be versed in social creativity, influencer marketing and emerging trends such as social commerce. AR / VR and AI too. You will have a solid track record of winning new business and running new business pitch processes making it look effortless, smooth and efficient in terms of delivery thereby having a high level of conversion of opportunities.
