    Event Operations Coordinator

    Report to:
    Events Manager
    Full-time including late evenings and weekends
    Cromwell Place is a space for art, culture and community. We are a London home for artists, art professionals and cultural partners.

    Through our programme, innovative community and thoughtfully designed spaces for eating and drinking we actively facilitate the sharing and development of ideas within a supportive, critically rigorous environment.

    Cromwell Place is currently undergoing a period of transformation, with a relaunch scheduled for autumn 2024.

    The Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of events from initial enquiry and preparation through to completion.

    Working closely with the event management team, this role will involve administrative as well as hands-on tasks such as event preparation and operational team supervision.

    This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the event management industry and gain practical hands-on experience in all aspects of event operations as well as event sales and business development experience.

    It is an ideal role for individuals who are passionate about events, eager to learn, and looking to advance their career in the event management industry.

    Manage event enquiries, create and send proposals as and when required.
    Provide full event coordination of onsite events, from event preparation/setup to breakdown

    Fully brief and supervise the food & beverage team and ensure the highest level of customer service throughout the event.

    Coordinate with suppliers for quotes and communicate with clients to ensure timely delivery of event-related items.
    Manage the Events Team diary, scheduling appointments, meetings, and site visits as required.
    Perform administrative tasks such as updating our CRM, event management software, menus, capacities, online representation platforms, etc.
    Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event spaces before, during, and after events.
    Assist with post-event activities, including gathering feedback and compiling event reports.
    Previous experience as in a supervisory or coordinator role within an events operations team.
    Previous experience in event preparation, setup and on-the-day coordination.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
    Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed during event setup and breakdown.
    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required for events.

    Knowledge of the art world and current cultural landscape as well as out of the box thinking and a passion for food and beverage and impecable service.
