    GBP 42,990 - GBP 47,767 / year

    You will also play a key role supporting the performance and development of your team, by providing ongoing support and feedback to enable team members to grow and develop in their roles.

    Confidently and passionately manage and lead your team, ensuring that every adjudication hearing adheres to NMC values, policies, and quality standards while navigating high-profile and varied challenges with professionalism.

    ~ Keep our busy regulatory workload moving by using your negotiation and influencing skills to address escalations and practical issues swiftly, utilizing your keen eye for detail and numerical analysis to find practical solutions.

    ~ Work collaboratively to forge strong relationships both within and outside the department, collaborating on long-term projects that continuously elevate the quality of our adjudication events, and wider NMC projects.

    ~ Motivate and engage your team with your infectious can-do attitude, providing ongoing support, guidance, and management to ensure operational excellence and staff empowerment.

    ~ Drive performance against agreed targets and SLA's so we meet the expectations of our customers and other departments we support.

    A strong track record in managing a team, with experience of handling absence and performance, and driving the team to meet ambitious objectives.

    ~ Bring a solid understanding of the adjudication process within professional regulation, coupled with experience in managing computerized management information systems to monitor workflow and performance.

    Our Pay Policy

    It is expected that staff new to the NMC will ordinarily be appointed to the bottom of the relevant pay band.

    Please note that we offer an annual review of salaries and adopt a generous progressive pay approach. For our internal colleagues, you will be paid in accordance to our internal pay policy.
