    Description

    Our client has grown to be one of the UK s largest suppliers of solutions for the forming, fixing, connecting, anchoring, securing and reinforcing of concrete into the Construction & Civil s industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to expand their operations in Sheffield.

    The Role

    This is a fundamental role in the company s business strategy and requires an individual of an ambitious nature. Operating across the Centre of England, you will be responsible for the sale and service of our client s vast product range and ancillary products into all Construction and Civil Contractors, House Builders and Design and Build Contractors. You will work autonomously in the office environment developing the company business from existing clients and their own group company customers, new business will come from existing contacts that are already know to the group companies, also re-acting to incoming sales calls and managing Key Accounts.

    The Candidate

    Suitable applicants must be able to show strong sales experience of construction OR Civil Engineering, Construction Product Supply or Builders Merchants, with some knowledge of fixings, fasteners, steel, rebar, reinforcement, tools or anchors markets and be looking for a challenging new role. Sales experience is a prerequisite however applicants should also have experience of structural concrete or a related product or have an interest in this kind of product. Applicants who have been selling to the construction, Civil or Merchant side of the business will have the right experience and should be able to learn the products very quickly. This role requires an applicant who is both comfortable technically but is commercially aware; applicants must be used to selling within construction and civils.

    Basic Salary £25-27K + Bonus + Package
