    Digital-Workspace-Experte IGEL baut Vertriebsteam aus
    Bremen,
    IGEL baut den Vertrieb in der DACH-Region, in Großbritannien/Irland, Australien/Neuseeland (ANZ) und weiteren internationalen Märkten aus. Hierfür setzt der Anbieter des Managed-Endpoint-Betriebssystems für den sicheren Zugang auf jeden digitalen Workspace auf zwei markterfahrene Führungskräfte. Brian Cornell, in der Vergangenheit Global Executive bei Red Hat ist als Vice President Sales DACH für die Regionen Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz verantwortlich. Für die Position des Vice President Sales UK/Ireland & International Markets konnte das Unternehmen den bislang für Citrix tätigen Manager Darren Fields gewinnen.

Das Branchen-Know-how, das regionale Verständnis und die Kontakte, die Führungskräfte wie Brian Cornell und Darren Fields mitbringen, spielt eine entscheidende Rolle in unserer Expansionsstrategie."
    Brian Cornell tritt bei IGEL an, um das Wachstum und die Skalierung des Unternehmens in der DACH-Region voranzutreiben. Seine in den vergangenen 25 Jahren in unterschiedlichen Führungspositionen sowohl in Europa als auch weltweit erworbene Management-, Vertriebs- und Customer-Experience- (CX) Erfahrung setzt er nun dafür ein, das Kunden- und Partnergeschäft von IGEL in Zentraleuropa auszubauen. Cornell war über 13 Jahre in leitenden Vertriebs- und CX-Rollen für Red Hat tätig. Hier baute er eine europaweite Organisation mit mehr als 400 Mitarbeitern auf und führte ein skalierbares Renewal- und Customer-Success-Modell ein. Darüber hinaus leitete der in Frankfurt am Main lebende Cornell bei weiteren Software- und SaaS-Unternehmen, darunter Acronis, den Vertrieb.
    Darren Fields, der von Citrix zu IGEL wechselte, ist in der Virtual Desktop Community zu Hause und verfügt über ein großes Kunden- und Partnernetzwerk. Unter anderem war er im Hybrid-Cloud-Computing-, Cyber- und Network-Security-, Virtualisierungs-, DaaS-, Backup-und-Recovery- sowie im Content-Management-Enterprise-Software-Umfeld als Führungskraft tätig. Für Citrix war er sechs Jahre in verschiedenen Rollen in Großbritannien, Irland sowie der gesamten europäischen Region aktiv. Zu den Stationen vor dieser Zeit zählen Unternehmen wie Vodafone, Telefonica Digital, Thunderhead, EMC und BMC Software, bei denen er ebenfalls in leitenden Vertriebspositionen tätig war. Darren Fields, der nahe London lebt, absolvierte ein Maschinenbaustudium an der Middlesex University.
    Darüber hinaus verstärkt Justin Thorogood das IGEL-Team als Director of Channels, UK, Irland & Emerging Markets. Er kommt ebenfalls von Citrix, hier verantwortete er in den vergangenen zehn Jahre die Partnerstrategie und -entwicklung des Unternehmens in Nordeuropa. Der als Innovator und Vertriebspartner-Enabler am Markt bekannte, nahe London ansässige Thorogood schloss an der University of Hertfordshire den Studiengang Business and Computing Systems ab.
