Are you an experienced Catering Manager who is passionate about creating and delivering exciting, nutritious menus to young learners? Roach Vale Primary School is seeking a talented individual to lead our team as a Catering Manager.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional requirements of students, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
Cook and serve home cooked, wholesome food to pupils aged 4-11.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Oversee the ordering and inventory management of food and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of food quality and service.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and students to gather feedback and continuously improve the catering service.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Excellent culinary skills and creativity in menu planning.
Effective leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles.
