    St John's Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a Deputy Head to expand our Senior Leadership Team.

    We are a successful 3-form entry Primary school in Tunbridge Wells who are seeking an ambitious and energetic Deputy to help St John's on the quest from Good to Great.

    Candidates should have experience as a senior leader, a history of being an outstanding class teacher and having whole school impact on Quality of Education.

    We are committed to supporting flexible working and will accept applications for part-time for the right candidate.
    A highly effective Teacher and Senior leader
    A capable communicator who can deliver a clear vision for the school
    Approachable and willing to work with staff across the school and Governors to implement strategies to move the school forward
    Able to develop and establish excellent relationships with the community and other stakeholders
    Able to demonstrate a track record of excellence in teaching and pupil outcomes
    Able to lead key areas of school improvement
    Able to foster and maintain excellent relationships with Staff, Governors, Parents and the wider community
    Fully supportive of the Christian ethos and values of our school
    Have high expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement
    Excellent opportunities to develop your leadership skills through National College, National Professional Qualifications and the Masters via Apprenticeship route
