    To help start new cancer cures around the world and fund discovery cancer research, we are looking for a SupporterCare Executive to join our busy Marketing and Supporter Experience team.

    you will drive supporter loyalty through excellent stewardship and fundraisingassistance, whether by phone, email or mail.

    As the first point of contact for all Worldwide Cancer Research Curestarters, you can make an impact every day withour team by maximising fundraising income and supporter engagement.

    We're looking for a Customer Care Executive to join our team, this role will be known internally as Supporter CareExecutive.


    Hours:
    Full time and permanent.

    The office is open 8am – 6pm daily and our hybrid working policy requiresall full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

    The Advice Line Call Coordinator will respond to incoming phone calls/e-mails/text messages and direct service usersto the appropriate people/team within CHSS and be responsible for administration duties related to the AdviceLine.

    We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a minimum 1 year experience working in a health/social care settingand a basic understanding of medical terminology.

    The Advice Line practitioners provide a qualified, supportive listening ear and allour health advice is based on current Scottish and UK medical guidelines.

    The role of the Advice Line Lead Coordinator is to manage and develop a team of Advice Line Coordinators andVolunteers ensuring high quality and effective service delivery.

    To provide policy and project support for the Scottish Obesity Alliance (SOA), a Scotland wide alliance oforganisations committed to tackling obesity through prevention.

    The Scottish Obesity Alliance has an independentchairperson and an Executive Group who set policy priorities. The post is hosted within Obesity Action Scotlandwho provide line management to the postholder.

    The post holder will report to the Head of Obesity Action Scotland for line management support and to the AllianceLeadership/Alliance Chairperson.

    The Head of Obesity Action Scotland post is currently vacant, and the postholder will report to the Interim Programme Lead for the initial period.


    The Policy and Partnerships Officer will:

    • co-ordinate and organise project and network meetings
    • support the SOA policy, advocacy and public affairs work
    • assist in the creation and posting of website and digital media content
    • manage an online digital members area
    • co-ordinate and organise events and digital events
    • This post is provided on a fixed term basis and may be extended dependent on funding.
    Experience of partnership working and effective relationship management


    • Experience and knowledge of public affairs activity and the Scottish policy and political landscape
    • Strong planning and organisational skills including administration and project management skills
    • Experience of influencing decision making with colleagues and senior managers
    • Knowledge of digital communication channels e.g. X/Twitter and LinkedIn
    • Knowledge of obesity or public health policy area
    • Good level of numeracy to enable analysis of engagement statistics
    • Knowledge of survey monkey or equivalent software package
    • Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
