    Salary / Package Up to £68,000 depending on experience + 10% bonus Location Winchester / London, however Arqiva offer a flexible working model whereby visits to the office are driven by relevant meetings as opposed to prescribed days at an Arqiva site. Accountabilities
    • Manage the production of annual statutory accounts and external investor reporting (including covenant reporting), ensuring compliance with debt requirements and regulations. Responsible for the development of external group reporting in line with the legal obligations of the Group.
    • Manage the production of external reporting ensuring clean audit reports and filing in line with relevant deadlines. Support Head of FC&C with audit/stakeholder relationships including appointed external auditors, the Audit and Risk Committee and any Appointed Accountants as required.
    • Prepare papers for Shareholder Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings in respect of Group results and Statutory Accounts of main trading entities. Organise and facilitate board meetings of the local board for the signing of the audited/unaudited statutory accounts of companies under the control of the local board.
    • Manage the holding company(s) month end accounting and reporting, together with oversight of group accounting areas such as fixed assets, provisions, pensions and debt instruments.
    • Manage the debt and refinance accounting, including technical advice as required.
    • Manage the external audit of minor and overseas subsidiaries.
    • Support the management of robust financial controls for the group across all finance processes, with a focus on accounting compliance.
    • Keep up to date with changes in generally accepted accounting principles and external audit requirements, ensuring Arqiva's Accounting Policies are compliant. Support the regular review of complex contracts and judgement areas to ensure appropriate accounting and provisioning, and ensuring Accounting Policies are kept up to date and address Arqiva's trading activities
    • Undertake ad hoc special accounting projects in support of the groups strategic plans as required, including work associated with financing prospectus'.
    Qualifications Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience/Expertise Strong track record of technical accounting and financial control including engagement with external auditors. Technical / Professional Skillset(s)
    • Extensive knowledge of current technical accounting principles including the accounting for complex contracts
    • Significant knowledge and use of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
    • Business analytics and report writing capabilities and experience at working at board level and managing external stakeholder relationships.
