    SPV Regional Director - location flexible (home-based / hybrid)About the Company / RoleOur Client are a leading European Investor with a diverse portfolio of infrastructure related assets looking to recruit an experienced PFI professional to manage a portfolio of operational assets acting as a PFI / SPV Regional Director (or equivalent).

    You will be responsible for managing a team of PFI professionals with projects predominately based in the UK and Ireland.

    The role reports directly into the European Operations Director. Any UK location is considered as the role is home-based with travel as necessary.

    The main responsibilities of the role are:

    Leadership of the SPV management team of PFI assetsLiaising with, and working closely with SPV board of DirectorsEnsure the SPV management team and sub-contractors comply with the requirements of the SPV Health & Safety PolicyStrategic planning of the SPV's responsibilities, resources and activitiesManaging the interfaces between the Client, SPV, Building Contractor, Facilities Management Contractor and other external partiesEnsuring compliance with contractual requirementsEnsuring compliance with Credit agreement requirements and liaising with the Technical Advisor to the LenderDay to day management of the SPV's responsibilities including the efficient resolution of problems.

    Looking after the interests of the Investor, insofar as the supply of Management Services to the SPV.Chair the monthly contract Meetings attended by the Subcontractor and Client.

    Preparation of internal management reports.
    Ensure all of the SPVs remains compliant with its contractual responsibilities, particularly the Credit Agreement.
    Ideal CandidateIdeally you will come from a PFI SPV, FM or Sponsor / Sub-contractor background.
    You must have solid PFI experience of managing complex PFI Projects where excellent commercial and contractual skills are essential.
    Senior commercial strategic thinker who can ruthlessly prioritise and lead a performance improvement plan / turnaround type strategy.
    We are ideally looking for a professional with excellent commercial / contractual skills obtained in an infrastructure environment.

    Would suit an experienced Portfolio / Regional SPV Director or a Senior SPV General Manager / Project Director ready to step up.

    Who are we ideally looking for?Degree educated and/or professionally qualified.
    The successful candidate will have significant management in a PPP environment.
    A good understanding of contracts and, in particular, PPP contracts.
    Entrepreneurial/ Commercial awareness and good negotiation skills.

    Salary will be commensurate with your level of experience and is fully negotiable but as a guide is likely to be in the circa £110-145K range.
