    Job Description

    Walker Cole International is supporting one of its clients in their search for a Chief Quality Officer. The business have a diverse portfolio of established and pipeline assets and are currently undergoing growth due to acquisitions.

    As the Chief Quality Officer, you will drive a corporate quality structure, oversee an international team across several countries, and provide strategic leadership while sitting on the executive leadership team.

    The company is headquartered in the United States, but has offices in London, Antwerp, Paris and the Nordics.

    Your responsibilities as the Chief Quality Officer will be:

    • Leading a global quality strategy to drive planned company expansion.
    • Oversee an international quality team made up of permanent and contract employees including QPs and RPs.
    • Play a figurehead role in managing regulatory agency inspections from MHRA, EMA, and FDA.
    • Oversee a global electronic Quality Management System along with managing a network of CMOs.
    • Lead Quality Risk Assessment and due diligence of new product acquisitions, collaborating with Regulatory, Medical and CMC.

    The successful candidate for the Chief Quality Officer will demonstrate the following:

    • Extensive Quality experience in a virtual pharmaceutical environment.
    • Previous experience managing CMOs and vendor suppliers.
    • Strong people management expertise, ideally in global teams.
    • Extensive GMDP knowledge, QP or RP qualification is beneficial.
