    What you'll be doing
    You will be working in an agile environment, expected to make decisions at pace.

    You will understand the importance of controls in the reporting which we do and be able to deliver to a high quality.

    You will be demonstrating your strong leadership skills as you coordinate and lead in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.

    You will be speaking to colleagues regularly to ensure that they can deliver information to you in a controlled and timely manner.

    You will be excellent at managing stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organisation.

    You will be skilled at generating a culture of collaboration across numerous pieces of work and managing conflicting accountabilities.

    You'll work closely with colleagues and senior leaders within the Financial Reporting team and be expected to express your opinions in a clear and professional manner.

    You have an important role to make sure that the requirements are understood and can clearly articulate the vision of the future to everyone.


    About you At a minimum you will be:

    An experienced accountant with relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Able to display stakeholder management and relationship building skills, at all levels of the organisationAble to make decisions independently, keeping relevant parties informedAble to manage multiple conflicting priorities and identify the right course of action for the Society.


    It would be great if you also had:

    Experience of working within a large financial services organisationExperience of the consolidation of multiple pieces of financial information Our Customer First behaviours are all about putting customers and members at the heart of how we work together.
