    Pride in London has a renewed sense of purpose to highlight the challenges still facing the LGBT+ community today despite progress. We are run by a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity and are drawn from all walks of life. Pride aims to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow all of our community to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing.

    Around 250 people volunteer year-round to help us deliver what has become a world-class Pride. It is our intention for Pride in London to best represent all parts of our community and we continue to actively encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, particularly women, People of Colour and those from the trans and non-binary communities.     Your Role

    Pride in London is looking for a strategic, commercial thinker who is keen to utilise their
    relationship-building and strategic capabilities to join our team. We are seeking a Deputy Director of Partnerships & Growth, working closely with the Director of Partnerships and growth, you will help take responsibility for the organisation's income including sponsorship, licensing and fundraising ensuring that they build a future of growth and sustainability.

    As the Deputy Director of Partnerships & Growth, you will be responsible for:
    • Managing commercial partnerships: Public facing role, leading partnership development, increasing income streams, building and foster long term relationships
    • Managing the commercial team, developing clear values and building relationships that reflect and support the organisations values
    • Developing Growth Strategy; working collaboratively with the Director of Partnerships & Growth and Volunteers, helping the organisation evolve and ultimately create a long term commercial astute operating model
    • Building Reputation; Work closely with marketing and partners to project a compelling and credible organisation representation

    What You'll bring to Pride in London:

    • Previous experience working in a senior strategic and commercial role
    • Experience in preparing and overseeing commercial proposals
    • Previous success in identifying brand and corporate partnerships and managing the engagement process from prospecting through to contract execution
    • Experience of managing budgets and financial information
    • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
    • A track record in delivering strategic partnerships with tangible demonstration of growth results
    • A genuine commitment to LGBT+ issues, equality, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion

    Our volunteers are driven and passionate about what they do. Putting on one of London's largest one-day events requires dedication and perseverance.

    Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

    We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the organisation so we can provide a platform for every part of London's LGBTQ+ community.

    About Pride in London

    Pride in London is run in majorityby a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBTQ+ communities and improve the event.

    Pride in London includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
