    My client is a leading global player within the entertainment space. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in London.

    You will report into the Chief People Officer and be responsible for an employee base of c.1500 people. The majority of your employees will be based in the UK, but you will also have an international remit and potential travel will be required.

    You will be responsible for delivering the people strategy across multiple key divisions internally. You will work closely with other key stakeholders and global people teams to ensure that all people strategies are aligned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Shaping and developing a clear People Strategy that feeds into the wider People Team.
    • Leading the people team.
    • Work as a trusted and strategic advisor to key execs within the business and their leadership team – providing them with specialist knowledge and guidance
    • Contribute to business planning and strategic discussions by providing commercial advice, guidance and support on all people issues
    • Lead on relevant people projects and change initiatives
    • Drive colleague engagement at all levels – providing best practice and insights
    • Working pro-actively with the business and recruitment partners to ensure a high standard of hires
    • Analysis and review of management information to identify opportunities
    • Providing expert advice and guidance to leaders on escalated People matters, supporting senior leaders in dealing with complex employee relations issues

    Person criteria:

    • Have prior work experience in a senior level HR Director role
    • Broad generalist background
    • Ideally have worked in a global matrixed organisation with a headcount of at least 2000 employees.
    • Experience in working within the entertainment / digital / technology sectors.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and have the credibility and gravitas to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
    • Experience of coaching and influencing senior leaders.
    • Ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals and groups.
    • Ability to demonstrate commercial thinking
    • Solution focussed and customer centric mindset

    This role would suit a proven HR Director that is looking for a new challenge. This client has been through a period of change and they are seeking a HR Director that is prepared to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.

    This role is based in London but does require someone that will be happy to travel. They offer a hybrid work policy with c.2 days in the office per week.
