    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced 2D Fashion Concept Artist/Designer to work on one of the biggest Metaverse projects ever Seedworld .

    As a 2D Concept Artist focused on Fashion Design, you will show your expertise and be responsible for creating fun and innovative designs for clothes and accessories for our characters in Seedworld.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design original and imaginative concepts for clothes and accessories in and stylized fashion based on project requirements, scripts, or creative briefs.
    • Conduct research on various sources to create and inspire the costume designs.
    • Maintain consistency in design style and visual language, matching the artistic style of Seedworld.
    • Work closely with the Art Department team to explore ideas and develop outfits, accessories that fit the aesthetics of Seedworld.
    • Work with Art Directors, Technical Artists and Developers to understand technical requirements and ensure the pipeline is as efficient as possible.
    • Active participation in technical and artistic discussions and problem solving.
    • Ability to summarize own work, identify problems, and documentation to make internal and outsourcing communication better for the full team.

    Skills & Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of Concept Art Development experience in the gaming industry, focusing on Costume Design.
    • Experience using Photoshop or equivalent creative software

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Strong fundamentals in proportions, anatomy, materials, color usage, lighting, areas of detail and areas of rest
    • Ability to showcase concepts that match the stylized art style of Seedworld
    • Experience with costume, apparel, and armors designs in different genres like fantasy, science fiction, steampunk, etc.

    Bonus Skills:

    • Knowledge of Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, and other 3d packages like Blender, Maya, etc., will be a plus.
    • Knowledge of Unreal Engine will be also considered a bonus.
