    Description


    A Financial Services Company based in London is currently seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to join their EMEA Technology team, supporting their trading applications.

    The team prioritises and resolves faults or queries on trading applications across all clients, suggesting methods to build and implement measurable improvements to the services.


    Key Duties:
    Provide production support and maintenance on the application architecturePerform a level of monitoring, tuning and optimization of performance of IT applicationsPerform all other duties as assignedManage upgrades of applications and technical componentsParticipate in the preparation and implementation of business test phasesCreate and update all documents related to applications and their supporting systemsCollaborate and work efficiently with members from other teams

    Experience Required:
    Experience in a similar Application Support position, ideally in the Banking or Financial SectorExperience of supporting Trading ApplicationsAnalytical and Diagnostic SkillsRed Hat Linux O/S experience, Windows O/S beneficialScripting skills (ie Python, Powershell, Bash, Shell)

    Beneficial:
    Working Knowledge of SSRS and SSISSupport of applications using .NET 2.0, 3.0 ASP and Windows applications and servicesData Warehousing
