    WordPress and Shopify Developer/Project Manager

    Career Calling International is a one stop shop for all education needs within the VET sector. Services include assisting training providers with compliance and quality assurance, training and assessment resources, recruitment, career coaching, online media solutions, developing compliance and quality assurance systems and professional development workshops.

    THE POSITION

    Looking for an experienced WordPress and Shopify Developer/Project Manager that will perform the duties listed below. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development (Preferably a portfolio we can view).

    The sucessful candidate will be w orking with pre-developed themes/plugins or developing WordPress themes and plug-ins from scratch and c ustomisation of WordPress and Shopify themes.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
    • Considerable experience in troubleshooting WordPress website problems, and poor performance quickly and efficiently.
    • Experience with integrations between WordPress and a range of other online and software functions including the use of API's.
    • Strong communication and engagement skills
    • Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
    • Work well in a fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills.
    • Well organized – able to manage traffic flow and workload priorities.

    Highly desirable skills:

    • WordPress and popular third party tools
    • Shopify
    • Product/E-commerce management
    • cPanel/WHM
    • PHP/CSS
    • Graphic Design
    • Strong knowledge on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
