    Job Description

    We are recruiting partner for one of leading food manufacturing company. They are hiring a Manager- Finance, Europe (based in London, UK).

    Summary:

    Manager- Finance is the owner of Business Planning cycles for the EU region including co-owning the IBM cycle and enabling solid analysis and forecasting for yearly P&L management to deliver on key KPIs of NS/ GM/ OI.

    The resource will enable the EU market to deliver on the Gross Margin Expansion ambitions by raising the bar on SRGM tracking and CI tracking with a strategic lens to deliver on the 3 yr margin expansion glidepath. Further the Manager- Finance will also mentor the 1A resource for smooth onboarding and setting up of commercial hygiene on Pricing/ TP/ RDA and Customer P&Ls. Any automation deliverables for the company or the UK distributor will be steered by the resource to drive process efficiency and unlock value.

    Major Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Drives and is responsible for integrated process of Annual Plan, Business Outlook and Strat Plan for the business unit. Sets timeline, task list and deliverables for the cross functional team & delivery. Prepares analyses and financials for review before finalizing presentation slides for HSY Senior Management team reviews.
    • Owns business unit's P&L by Customer and P&L by Brand analyses & insights driven action points. Meets with sales and brand managers regularly to improve margins while optimizing Trade Promotions and Direct Brand investments. Aligns operational plans with the strategy of the business unit and company. Is responsible for identifying and communicating investment opportunities and/or cuts, holding regular meetings with General Manager
    • Drives business unit's decision points through data points presented during Consensus and CMBR meetings. Tracks and drives action on Trade Promotion spending, Direct Brand spending, Phasing of P&L, Gross Profit margin by Customer/Brand etc.
    • Oversees analyses and actively participates in decision making for product portfolio management in coordination with Commercial team. Is responsible for managing profitability benchmarks and reviews for the product portfolio of the business unit, overseeing Pricing, Revenue Growth Management and across products & markets, supporting Commercial Team
    • Drives key financial aspects of distributor relationship such as conflict resolution, annual contract evaluation, FX rate settlement, payment term and credit limit assignment
    • Mentors & develops Sr Financial Analyst and supporting Innovation Finance team members in order to improve capabilities and drive decision points through insights & analyses
    • Is responsible for actively & constantly seeking improvement and simplification of business processes including financials to increase time and resources efficiency. When necessary, undertakes, coordinates and delivers EU regional level projects, leading projects in process improvement and automation.

    Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

    Education:

    BA/BS Degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business. Master's degree not required (but can be useful/favorable)

    Experience:

    8-12 years of experience in a related field
